  • Does restaurant insurance cover damage to customers personal property?

The policy will only cover damage to customer property if your business is legally liable for the loss. Eg a negligent spillage by serving staff.

  • What is the estimated cost for restaurant insurance?

Each policy is individually rated therefore no estimate can be given

  • What type of insurance policies are required to open a restaurant?

The only legal mandatory class of insurance is Employers’ Liability Insurance however a more comprehensive police is recommended, eg building, contents, stock , money and business interruption cover

YES, as it is compulsory to have Employers’ Liability Insurance

  • Does making your pub more child friendly reduce your insurance premium?

Not directly, however doing so will reinforce your status a such a “family” venue and will distance you from a late bar/ urban sector which tend to be perceived as poorer risks and pay higher premiums.
